• CPC Ontario Division is now registered on the Maytree site.
• Reply to a letter from Canadian Coalition of Independent Life Income Holders which requested that CPC join their campaign to allow pensioners to withdraw their locked-in pensions. CPC declined explaining it thought that such actions would endanger the pensions of all those involved.
• Letter of support to be written to Libby Davies, M.P., for her comments in the House of Commons regarding the United Nations report on rights to adequate housing and the failure of the government to provide funding for new social housing.

Meeting April 20, 2009

• Motion to confirm Officers and Members of the Executive Committee for 2009/2010.

• Approved suggestion by the Membership Committee that CPC contact companies that have programs for retiring employee and churches that have social justice committees.
• CPC Ontario Division is co-sponsoring the National AGM which will be held in Toronto.
• CPC will have a display table at the Toronto City Hall's function for Seniors Month on June 9th.
